I'm a motorbike enthusiast with a soft spot for old-school and custom bikes — the ones with carbs instead of fuel injection, points instead of coil packs, and a service manual that assumes you already know half of what it's trying to teach you.

There's no shortage of advice out there on keeping these bikes running, but it's scattered across old forums, out-of-print manuals, and marketplace listings — and just as much of it is wrong as it is right. shedbuild is my attempt to pull the useful parts into one place: buying guides, known issues, and upgrade paths per model, with a garage tracker for your own rebuild coming next.

The bigger goal is a community built around classic and custom bikes — helping people get into them, keep them maintained properly, and stop these old machines from quietly dying out.
